Bankstown Bites Food Festival

25 July 2009 is Bankstown Bites and it's all about the food!

Join us from 10am to 4pm as Bankstown City Council celebrates Bankstown’s diversity through a focus on food.

Attracting thousands of visitors, this fabulous family day out features:

• guided discovery food tours
• celebrity cooking demonstrations with TV Chef, Fast Ed
• live performances
• roving entertainment
• international food stalls
• free family activities:  kids food craft, face painting, jumping castle, puppet shows and more

From 1 June, you can register online for a Discovery Food Tour. 

These popular themed walking tours of Bankstown food businesses include Sweet Treats, European Delights, Asian Explorer and Treats from the Middle East.

A detailed event program will be available at the end of June.
